Happy New Year!!! 2009 has been a great year and we are looking forward to 2010 for another great year. For New Years Eve we didn't have any plans so we just hung out at our house and did our own thing.
First, we made home made mini pizzas. Emily loved helping until I took the dough away from her because she tried to eat it.
Our finished pizzas ready to eat. They were really good. It looks like Russell started the festivities a little early! After dinner we played some card games and watched the New Year's Eve parties on TV. We played SkipBo and Old Maid with Emily. We had a fun time together as a family. At 11:30 we drove into town to see the fireworks. We drove up to the airport thinking there wouldn't be very many people there. We were wrong; however, there were tons of people there but we were able to find a place to park.

Emily tried to stay up until the new year but she didn't even make it to the fireworks.
We made it to the New Year!!! Welcome 2010!
We have many resolutions for the New Year but one is to get in shape! We got new running clothes for Christmas and we are going to start running every day! Wish us luck I think we will need it.

You guys are so cute. Your hair is so long too! I didn't think you were ever going to stray for your short do! Good Luck with the running resolution. I agree with the above comment, you are tiny and cute, you must have already started running!
