Happy 15th Anniversary to us!! We have definitely come a long way in 15 years. We've gone from just the two of us to now seven of us! It has been a good ride and I am definitely not ready to get off anytime soon.
For our anniversary this year, we had a nice night at home.
The kids put together a restaurant for us complete with a menu and all. They were the waiters and servers and everything. As you can tell though, Brooklyn was not the happiest. The rest of the kids were very helpful and happy to serve.
According to the Internet, the traditional gift for a 15th wedding anniversary is crystal as it represents the pure and sparkling love between a married couple. The 15 year anniversary modern gift is a watch which symbolizes the beautiful time that the couple has spent together, and the many more days and years to come in the future.
Well, we did not get each other crystals or watches, instead we got each other a new washer and dryer:
and a toaster! Real romantic right?! Well they are kind of shiny like a crystal though. Our other washer and dryer and toaster lasted 15 years with is pretty good I guess. Thankfully we will last much longer than that.
