Happy Half Birthday Cute Thing! Charlotte is 6 months old now.
Isn't she the prettiest baby ever? I love her chubby cheeks and her happy personality.
Charlotte is getting stronger and is beginning to sit up on her own. She can sit for a little while before flopping over. We have to make sure a pillow is behind her so that she doesn't get hurt. She is still a little squawker and loves "talking".
Well we started feeding her food this month. These pictures are of her first time trying rice cereal. She was super messy and didn't really know what to think about the food but it was fun to practice. The majority of the cereal ended up on her bib but she was sure happy to try. I know she will get better at eating from a spoon but in the meantime, we are enjoying (or enduring) the mess. The other kids thought it was so fun to feed Charlotte and watch her eat "real" food. Emily even got to feed her a couple of spoonfuls.
Emily built a fort in her room one day and desperately wanted me to put Charlotte in there so that she could share her fort with her sister. It was so cute to see Emily reading to Charlotte in their fort. Charlotte loved it and they played for quite a while.
Here are a couple more fun pictures of this little chunk. She is such a happy baby and absolutely loves her big brothers and sister.
Another fun thing we did this month is move Charlotte into her own crib! I know, I know, we should have done this months ago but it was just so much easier to have her in the bassinet in our room. Well she finally outgrew the bassinet and now loves the crib. We put the crib in Emily's room and now the girls are sharing. Emily was so excited to have her sister in her room. Charlotte does very well in the crib and sleeps most of the night. She usually only wakes up once to eat and then goes right back to sleep for the rest of the night. She is such a good and easy baby.
There is my pretty ballerina. Happy six months, Charlotte!
