Charlotte sure is the cutest little 3 month old baby around. She is getting so big and she is so chubby!
She loves when we talk to her and smiles so big at us. She is laughing more too. Those laughs are kind of hard to get but when she does you can't help but smile and laugh with her. Unfortunately, every time we get out the video camera to record her laughing, she clams right up and stops laughing.
She is also starting to be a little talker. She squawks and squeals all the time especially when she wants to get our attention. Charlotte also likes to "sing" saying "Aaah Aaah ahhh!" to us. Here are her many faces. Some happy others grumpy.
And those are her cute toes. I was trying to get a picture of her fat rolls on her legs but got her feet instead. She sure is growing!
These cute pictures are of her in her Sunday best. You can see she loves it... But the real reason I took these pictures was to document the day she rolled over for the first time! She rolled from her belly to her back twice! I don't know if it was entirely intentional or just happened because she was mad but she did it.
We love this little girl!
In other news with the family, Colby lost another tooth. Well more like the dentist had to pull another tooth.
Colby's silver capped molar had been hurting him since about the first of October. We went to the dentist to see what was going on and he said it looked like it was dying. Great. So gave us some antibiotics to try and save the tooth. The medicine helped with the pain but on our next visit we learned that it didn't save the tooth. So we had to go back and have it pulled and get a spacer put in its place. The dentist tried to pull it with just laughing gas and local anesthetic but the decay or something with the tooth was not getting it numb enough. So as a last resort, Colby was given a sedative that really drugged him up and they were able to pull the tooth. Colby doesn't remember anything about it but he was pretty loopy and it took about over 3 hours or so to fully come out of it. In the end, he came home with a nasty big silver tooth and a gold dollar from the Tooth Fairy so he was happy.
Another fun thing is watching the imagination and creative thinking coming from these two boys as the play together before Colby goes to school. This day was really creative. Logan built a "turkey" out of blocks and by moving a few block on its back and legs it could turn into different kinds of turkeys. Like a race car turkey or a robot turkey. Colby used his creative juices to come up with this awesome rocket pack. He designed and made the whole thing on his own. The only the Russell and I helped with was tying the cups on the back for rocket boosters. He thought he was pretty awesome especially in his sunglasses!
It is fun watching these kids grow even though they are doing it too quickly.
