FSY

Emily had the great opportunity of attending a For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conference this summer. The conference was a week long and was held at USU and she had a blast. Here she is to tell you about it:

FSY was such a fun experience.  I learned so fun many things.

At FSY we stayed at USU in dorms and we were assigned a roommate and a company.  The roommate that I had was a girl from my ward named Cami Davis.  Cami was such a fun roommate, and we had a lot of fun together.

The company that Cami and I were assigned to was the company that we did all of the activities with.  In our group there was Mady Halligan, Katie Haslam, Cami Davis,  Ava Anderson, Riley and a few other girls.  Our counselor, Grace Dixon, was such a fun and awesome counselor.  Our company name was Kingdom Keys.  Along with the girls, our company consisted of a group of boys and their counselor as well.
Each day we had classes and we were able to decide which classes we wanted to attend.  The last class that we went to was by Brother Low, he taught about Joseph Smith and at the end of the class we all sang the hymn "Praise to The Man," when we sang the hymn I could really feel the spirit in the room it was so cool.
Because we were on USU campus, during our free time we were able to go get some yummy Aggie ice cream.

At FSY there were dances, devotionals, and fun activities.  On day three we played some fun FSY games where we competed against the other groups that were there.  On day four there was a Variety Show and a Musical Program which was very fun to watch.

FSY's theme was the 2022 Youth Theme: Trust in The Lord, so many of the devotionals were about this theme.  There were so many fun things that we did at FSY.  FSY was such a fun and spiritual experience that really strengthened my testimony in the gospel and I can't wait for when I have the chance to go again.
