Cleaning Day

"Saturday is a special day. It's the day we get ready for Sunday: We clean the house ... so we don't have to work until Monday." (CS 196).
Every Saturday I try to clean up the house after a hectic week of work and running around. It is amazing how long it takes to clean but how fast it becomes messy again! But this week, I got a lot of help from Emily and Russell so it didn't take all day. Thanks guys!!
First, we had a bath. Russell had a little too much fun with Emily's hair. Hee hee! Her hair is getting so long. I can finally do something with it. (Notice the cute piggy tales.)
Then it was time to sweep the floor. Emily loves helping even when it means sweeping the carpet because the vacuum is too scary!

Emily was getting antsy because she didn't know what to do to help so I gave her a paper towel and told her to "wash" the windows. That kept her busy for about 15 minutes! She even sings while she works as you will see in the video below. Happy Saturday everyone!
