Happy 2nd Birthday, Charlotte!

Can you believe it has been two years since this cute girl came into our lives? Charlotte is two and such a joy to have in our family.  She always keeps things interesting and her personality is growing each day.

We sure love this little cheeser. She is so funny whenever the camera is brought out, she puts on this cheesy grin. Charlotte is just a happy go lucky girl and just likes having fun with her brothers and sister.

Charlotte loves Dora the Explorer so we decided to do a Dora party for her birthday.

I love how the cake turned out and Charlotte was so excited to have a Dora cake.  This was definitely a time consuming cake and getting the colors just right was tough but it was worth it and I'm glad it turned out so well.

We just had a little family party for her.  We also invited Calen and Ro to come celebrate with us too.  Charlotte loved being the center of attention.  What am I saying, she is always the center of attention!

She got a lot of fun gifts like puzzles, barbies, clothes, and of course Dora toys.  Her big gift was her Popper scooter.  She loved it and liked riding it around the front room.  She is still getting the hang of riding it but is having fun learning.

At cake time, Charlotte liked being sung to and blowing out the candle.

But her favorite part of course was eating the cake and ice cream.  I think she probably had thirds or fourths of both cake and ice cream.  Hey it was her birthday so let her eat cake, right?!  She even licked the plate clean afterward. She is so funny.

Here are some more cute pictures of this little knot head:

Charlotte loves playing and doing what the big kids do.  She tried on the boys' skates and I was really surprised that she could actually take a few skates before falling.  She was pretty slow but she kept getting up and trying again.  Luckily we were on the carpet.  Charlotte is also very friendly.  She is always making friends and talking to all of the other "babies" she sees in Nursery or anywhere else.  Here she is swinging with her new friend, Chloe.  We watch Chloe a couple of days a week while her mom works.  It is fun to here Charlotte yell, "Hi Chloe!!" whenever Chloe's dad drops her off at our house.  I don't know that Chloe is so excited to see us but Charlotte is excited to see her.

I can't believe how big and grown up she looks in these pictures:

Where has the time gone?!  I love this little girl and can't imagine what we did without her.  She definitely adds to our family in a good way.  Now if I can just get her interested in being potty trained... Yeah she has absolutely no desire to to that yet...
Happy Birthday Cute Thing!
