We have not had an updated family picture since Charlotte was a new baby. It was time to have pictures done again. This was probably the best photo shoot we have done so far. It was so fun and we got some really great shots. Our friend, Erin Holmstead, took our pictures and she was amazing. I love how they all turned out.
The family shots alone were great but she was also able to get a bunch of really good ones of the kids as well.
I don't think Russell and I have had individual pictures in a really long time. I absolutely love how these look.
We had planned this day to take pictures for a while and then the day of the pictures it was raining all day! We didn't know if we would be able to take the pictures and we didn't know when we would be able to reschedule. Then right before our scheduled time, the clouds broke and the rain stopped. We still didn't know if the lighting would be right but Erin said she could make it work. So we got dressed and rushed up to the spot. The weather cooperated so well and it did not rain the whole time we were taking pictures. Then once we were done, it started sprinkling again. It was so perfect.
All I know is these are some pretty cute kids!!
This picture was just a funny candid shot of Charlotte copying Russell. She was so funny and loved taking pictures. The boys were just crazy the whole time but that was because they were having so much fun. I was so glad they were smiling in the pictures. Emily was the prefect model and did everything Erin told her to do.
I absolutely love these pictures. Now I need to decide where to hang them all in the house.
