JK Studios

Studio C is one of our favorite shows.  It is a comedy sketch show sponsored by BYU TV.  We watch it all the time and have many of the sketches memorized.  When we found out that the original cast of Studio C was coming to Logan in their new capacity as JK! Studios, we had to get tickets to see them live.

The show was at the Ellen Eccles Theater so every seat was good. We had the balcony seats so we could see the stage from above really well.  The actors were all of our favorites except for Matt and Mallory.  That was okay though because the rest were excellent.  The sketches were all new and very funny.

We literally could not stop laughing.  In one sketch, Stacey sang a song and asked all the kids what different sounds animals made like a dog or cow.  Then he ask the adults what sounds different things made.  We expected easy things like a pig or cat but no he asked us things like: What sound does a giraffe make? The funnest was when he asked, "What sound does a rabbit make?" Some lady screeched like a dying rabbit.  Stacey abruptly stopped the song and just stared in the direction of the lady.  The whole audience burst out in laughter!  I don't know if that was planned or totally improvised but it was hilarious.

There were a lot of other funny sketches too.  I was hoping they would do the crayon song but sadly they didn't.

We really enjoyed the show and were so glad we were able to attend and have a good laugh.  If they come back to Logan we will definitely go again!
