Drew's Baptism

On July 2 our nephew, Drew, got baptized. The awesome thing about it was that he was able to get baptized on his birthday! Now he will never forget his baptism date.

The baptism was really nice. We all came to support him in this important step in his life and as a result, Drew's family pretty much filled the chapel. We are proud of Drew for making this important decision to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the first important step in returning to live with our Heavenly Father. I know this is true!

Here is all of the Priesthood holders that were able to confirm Drew a member of the Church. It was a big circle but everyone squeezed in. Drew probably had at least 60 family members in attendance.

After the baptism, we all headed over to the Bassett's for a birthday dinner and pool party for Drew.

It was fun to be with everyone and celebrate this important time in Drew's life. Congratulations Drew on this important step in your life. Stay close to the Spirit and you will never be lead astray and your life will be much happier!
