Justin's Wedding

September 12th was Justin and Summer's wedding.
One bad thing about living far away from family is you have to miss out on things.  Their wedding was planned really quick and, though we knew they were planning on getting married, we found out the official date only two weeks before.  Unfortunately, we were not able to arrange our schedules to make it down to the wedding.  Russell was scheduled to work both Friday and Saturday and was unable to find anyone to cover for him.  Also, Sunday was the kids' Primary Program and I didn't want them to miss that because it was Colby's first and they had worked so hard memorizing their parts and learning their songs. (By the way the kids did an awesome job on their parts in the Primary Program.  It kind of made me want to be in Primary again.) So I would have had to drive down by myself to just turn around and drive home late that same night.  We decided that was not the safest thing to do.  We were also already planning on travelling down to St. George in a couple weeks for Grandma's 97th birthday, so we couldn't afford two trips in the same month.  It was a hard decision but one we had to make.  So long story short, we missed the wedding. After looking at some of their pictures on Facebook, it looks like they had a good time.  Here are a few pictures I took from the Facebook pages of the happy couple:

It looks like they had fun.  Their baby is due in November so I would like to wish them the best of luck in all they do.  I know they will have some struggles ahead of them but hopefully they will be able to overcome those things together.
