Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the Farnsworth's home. This is a great holiday for us. All the kids look forward to dying Easter eggs and doing an Easter egg hunt. It is always fun to see the kids each year get more and more creative on how they decorate their eggs. We had some really good decorated eggs with some real thought put into each one on how it should look. Everyone has their own unique way of how they wanted their egg.
Poor Colby, he picked up his first egg and it dropped in the die. He was bummed and went to do the second one and it slipped off the spoon and fell and cracked. He was like what the heck not fair. We tried to tell him to slow down and be careful. He was trying to be careful and he was about to put his third egg in the die when it too fell in the cup and broke. Oh boy this broke the camels back and he was done. I felt so bad for him. It was crazy that all three broke. They looked like dinosaur eggs after he was done.

The next morning the kids woke up to the Easter bunny that came to the house and left fun surprises for each of them. This year Easter also fell on General Conference weekend.  I love when it does that because it really helps us remember the true meaning of Easter.  in between sessions, we started the Easter egg hunt. We invited the Sunada's over so their boys could have fun with our kids. We had too many eggs and needed more kids to even the odds anyway.

We went like tradition from youngest to oldest on who can come out first and hunt for eggs. The kids loved it. They were running all over the yard getting as many eggs as possible. Once the hunt was over, it was time to dump the bags and see what they raked in for candy. Of course they all got way too much.
On the Saturday before Easter, we went over to the school where the Young Women in our ward put on a fun Easter egg hunt and party for the Primary kids.  As you can tell, Charlotte had fun and got her face painted at the activity.

This is also a great day to remember our Savior Jesus Christ and what He did for us so that we may live again with Him and God. Easter is the reason for Jesus Christ.
