The Honeymoon

For our honeymoon, Russell and I went on a 4 day cruise to Mexico. We had a great time on this adventure. It was the first time I had been on an airplane and I was a little nervous but Russell helped me through it. We flew from St. George to Los Angeles, CA and boarded the biggest ship either one of us had ever seen. We got to know many people on the ship and every one came to know us as "the newlyweds." We ported at San Diego, Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico before returning to Los Angeles. The ports were amazing and the excursions were really fun. The food was amazing on the ship, probably the best food we had ever eaten. We loved the laid back feeling of the cruise and the fact that we could go get ice cream or a snack any time we wanted to. Four days was definitely not long enough! Here are a few pictures and a movie of our cruise:
Here Russell is modeling the life jacket that is suppose to save us if the ship sinks.

This is us as the ship is leaving the dock for our cruise. (It was amazing watching the captain maneuver this huge ship. There were many times I thought we were not going to fit in between other ships but we always made it . We thought we were going to hit that bridge behind us.)

Us at the San Diego port.

At a famous baseball field in San Diego (I can't remember the name)

At the San Diego port again with our cruise ship behind us.

Russell next to our Cruise ship (I told you it was huge!)

On our way to Catalina Island to go snorkeling (that is the Island behind us)

Snorkeling at Lover's Cove! (I'll tell you one thing, the salt water ocean is nothing like a swimming pool!!!)

Climbing rock on our cruise ship.

The sunsets were amazing over the ocean.

The La Bu fedora in Ensenada Mexico was very cool.

We had to try on these hats in the Mexican shop. I was a little nervous to let the shopkeeper use my camera though. We were ready to chase him if he ran away with it!

Our last excursion was a tour of Los Angeles and Hollywood.

The stars on the Walk of Fame.

Our cruise was great! We are saving our money so we can go on another one soon!
