April 11 is Becca's birthday and April 13 is Taylor's birthday. To celebrate both, the Hughes' invited everyone over to their house for a fun birthdsy party and cancert for both of them. The party was so much fun complete with plenty of presents for the girls:
...and dinner and cake for us! But that wasn't even the best part. Becca said she wanted a band at her birthday so Lacie and Klint invited thier brother-in-law, Kevin Wilson, and his band over to play at the party.
The band was really good and quite entertaining. They sang country songs, told stories, and even embarassed Becca, Taylor, and thier Aunt Rocinda Hansen. It was also Rocinda's 50th birthday that day so we all wished her a happy birthday too. Taylor and Becca also got to play along with the band in one number. They were really scared and embarassed so they didn't really know what to do but it was fun to watch anyway.
We all had a blast listening to the music and singing and dancing along.
Emily had fun dancing with her old friends, Britlyn and Colton Duwel. The Duwel's used to live next to us until they moved about a year ago. It was nice to see them again. Colby and Emily love going to cousin's house and playing and this was an added bonus to have friends there too and a big party!
Klint also got a kick line going to the song " Kick a Little". It was so funny to watch.
This party was a lot of fun and it was so nice to see all of the Hughes family again and visit with them. Happy Birthday Becca and Taylor and thanks for inviting us to your fun birthday party.
