Christmas Parties

Christmas party time once again. Tiffany is loving being part of a room mom for Emily and Colby's classes. They throw every kind of party for every kind of holiday.  The Christmas party is one of the funnest for all of the kids. Emily's class had a great time making gingerbread houses. They all made awesome houses and I am sure ate lots of candy too.

The kids in Emily's class had a great time building their houses.  There were no rules.  We just gave them graham crackers, icing, and a ton of candy and let them go to town.  There were some pretty interesting concoctions put together.  Some were houses, some were not.  Some of my favorites were the basketball court, the motocross track, and Big Ben.
Here is Emily's house she made.  It is only half way done in this picture.  There was much more candy on the final product.  She also had a family of gummy bears living in the house and a giant snowman.

Colby's class also had a great time in their class Christmas party. We had four different centers where they played Bingo, Don't Eat Santa, ate cupcakes, and a craft station.  Tiff had the craft station and they made Reindeer food and Reindeer hats.
They even had left over paper to make some for Charlotte, Logan and Emily. Both kiddos love having their Mom help with their classes. Lots of fun memories.

Here is our little herd of Reindeer!  Aren't they the cutest!

We also made a trip to St. George for the big Morwood Christmas party they do every year. It was great weather for the trip down and while we were there. As we were getting ready for the party, Tiffany had a great time doing Charlotte's hair. Her hair is now long enough to do little tiny piggy tails.

She was acting so funny to see everyone cheering her on about her first piggy tails. At first she was not liking the whole thing, but once she got all of the attention she loved them.  Surprisingly, she even kept them in for most of the day.

Once everyone was done up, we got all of the food and we headed to the party. The party was a fun time. The kids always love playing parts in the Nativity story.

After the story, we all had a great time listening to Grandma Morwood sing her songs on stage to get Santa to come. Everyone, including Grandma Morwood, was surprised that she had to do the singing to welcome Santa. It was a great hoot to watch. She did a great job getting everyone of the kids ready to start hearing the jingle bells. It worked and he came and had toys for all the boys and girls. Each of the kids could not wait to go and sit on Santa's lap. Even Charlotte had a good time with Santa. I thought she would be a little scared to see him but she wasn't.

Emily received a card game called Dutch Blitz. She started playing it with her cousins at Thanksgiving and has loved it and wanted it ever since. Colby and Logan wanted Lego's. Charlotte was young and trusted Santa to bring her something fun. Well Santa is always listening and knows what every kids would like. It was a great party.  The boys had fun putting together their Lego's and Emily played cards with her cousins until it was time to go. She couldn't wait to get home and play the game some more.

Here are all of them playing with there toys they got from Mr. Claus. It was fun to see them play and have a great time with their toys. Logan got a Mater Lego set and Colby got a Lego Nativity set.
It was a quick trip and lots of fun with family.
