Decorating the Tree

It is Christmas once again and it feels like we just had it. Time flies to fast now. So yes it is that time of year where the fun begins. This year we have a little Charlotte running around, so we had to improvise on decorating our Christmas trees. She likes to grab things and hold them if they look cool, so we had to put all the ornaments up high. Half of the tree has ornaments and the bottom half has none. All the kids had a blast helping put it up and decorate it.

This year was Charlotte's turn to put up the star. As you can tell from the picture she was excited to put it up.
The kids had a great time getting all of the Christmas decorations out of the boxes and setting them up where they remembered we put everything in years past.  We got out all of the toys and the count down calendars.  Colby loves the count down calendars.   He never lets us forget to up up a marker and he always lets us know how many days are left until Christmas.  Charlotte loves the Little People Nativity set. Every time the older kids would set it up she would grab all the pieces and throw them around. She loves playing with them.  She had a blast.

Here is the finished product of our pretty tree. See how the bottom half is empty. Good job kiddos on decorating the tree. Now it is time to put the presents under it. The kids always look forward to helping to put up the tree. They decided since we did popcorn and cranberries last year, we need to do ornaments this year. We kept all the glass ones and other fragile ones off the tree this year just in case a little terror gets a hold of it.

Together as a family with the finished product. Don't we look awesome!  The picture of me and the beard is real, no one believes me! Okay Tiffany had fun with photo shop and drew me a beard.   I think I could pull it off, right?
This last picture is of Tiffany's new Christmas wreath that she made with a group of friends in the neighborhood. The picture for the inspiration had fake antlers on it.  Well we didn't want to buy fake antlers when I had the real things at home!  Those antlers are actually the antlers from my first deer.  We just spray painted them white and wired them onto the wreath.  A little redneck but still cool!  It looks really great, good job Tiff.

Merry Christmas season everyone!
