One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making Gingerbread houses. For some reason, we kept putting this off each week but we finally did it tonight.
The kids got to decorate their houses however they wanted. There was so much candy spread all over the table and such a big mess of icing but it was so much fun. I don't know if there was more eating of the candy or gluing. Each one of us had our own ideas for our houses and I think they all turned out great.
Here's our village! Did I ever tell you that this is a great way to get rid of Halloween candy? Well it is.
Our six houses and our six crazy members of the family. Did you notice that Colby can never keep a straight face in pictures? He is always making a funny face. That is until we take a funny picture and then he actually smiles nicely!
