Pine Valley & Treats

Monday, December 13 we took a trip up to Pine Valley with Clint in hopes of finding snow to play in. As you can see from the pictures below we found a whole lot of it! Because of the lack of snow, we just rode our four-wheelers instead. Well Russell and Clint did anyway, Emily and I hung out at the trucks and searched for snow. Here are the little snowmen we made out of the little pile of snow we found. Emily and I built a Daddy, Mommy, Emily, and Yodie snowman while singing the "Once There was a Snowman" song. We also had fun searching the ground for little sticks to make their arms out of. After taking these pictures, Emily sang "In the sun they melted small, small, small!" and then stepped on them to smash them. Then she laughed and laughed.
After building our snowmen, we went in search of a Christmas tree for Clint. We drove up and down the road for about an hour looking for the perfect tree and finally found one.
Clint put the tree on his gun rack on his four-wheeler like it was a prized kill! After finding the perfect little tree, we headed home so Russell could get to work up in Springdale. He is working once a week or so for the Springdale Fire & Rescue.

Christmas is a time for goodies so this year I made these cute snowmen cupcakes as gifts for my co-workers.
They all loved them and said they were way too cute to eat! I think they turned out good.
I can't believe Christmas is almost here... I am definitely not ready yet.
