4 months

Logan is 4 months old now!  At his doctor appointment Logan weighed in at 17 pounds 14 ounces (95 percentile).  He is 26.5 inches long (95 percentile) and his head was 17 inches.  Logan is such a big boy!  I love all of his cute fat rolls and his chubby cheeks.  Here are some fun pictures of our little man at 4 months old:

What a funny boy.  Logan is trying to learn to sit up by himself.  He can do it for a few seconds before his belly gets in the way and he nose dives into the floor.  We are also trying to get him to roll over but he hasn't yet.  He can roll over to his side but can't quite get the rest of the way over.  Logan is a smiley happy baby and can't resist smiling at everyone he sees.  Logan loves playing with toys and eating his hands.  Unfortunately, he has rubbed all of the hair off of the back and sides of his head so he is bald in those places.  He does still have his long hair on the top of his head that looks like an old man comb over but it is still cute on him.  Logan's hair has stayed dark so hopefully he will have dark hair instead of the dirty blond like his brother and sister.  Logan has also discovered his toes.  He loves to grab them and play with them while he is laying on the ground playing.  Logan is at the point where everything that he gets in his hands goes directly to his mouth for a taste.  He is grabbing at everything too!  Logan has really long arms so he has this big wingspan and reaches for everything he can.  When we are changing his diaper he knocks the wipes case off of the counter, grabs for the soap dispenser, and anything else he can.  He is so funny.  Logan is also an observer, he loves to watch Emily and Colby playing and will turn his head or body to find them so he can watch them.  He is getting good at scooting around by arching his back and pushing off with his feet, which is the reason he has rubbed off all of his hair.  He hasn't gone too far but he can do a complete 360 and also scoot off of the play mat.  His sleeping could definitely improve.  It seems like if we hold him he will sleep for hours but as soon as we lay him down in his bed he wakes up within 10 minutes.  It is so frustrating!  Usually I sleep in the recliner at night with him so that I can get some sleep. I hope this is just because he has been sick and will get over it as he gets better.  I think we will be moving him into the crib soon because he is definitely out growing the bassinet.  What a sad day.  Maybe he will sleep better in the crib though because he won't be hitting the sides.  Other than that and still being a spit up master, Logan is a very content and happy baby just glad to be alive and have someone talk to him.  He will smile and smile at you all day.  Here are some more fun pictures of our three knock heads:

I love how I can never get Colby to smile for a picture.  He always wants me to take his picture but then when I actually get the camera out he refuses to smile.  I finally did get him to do a forced smile in the last picture but by then Logan was done with pictures and was fighting Emily to get away.  One day I will get a good one of all three.
