First Piano Recital

Emily has been learning to play the piano over the last few months and she had her first recital on May 1st. 

Emily did an awesome job playing her song, "Love Somebody."  We were so proud of her.  She just got right up there and played her song with no problems.  She even took a little bow at the end.  

Emily is in a music program called Let's Play Music.  In this program she is learning piano, voice, and music theory.  She absolutely loves it.  This recital was the end of the year program.  

At the recital, her class sang all of the songs they had learned over the last year as well as performed their songs on the piano.  They all did such a great job.  They all received certificates for passing their second year in the Let's Play Music program.

This is Emily's teacher, Rachel France.  She was a great teacher and Emily learned a lot from her and had a fun time in her class.  We will miss this program when we move to Logan.  Hopefully we can find a third year teacher up there.
