The Kindergartners got to go on a fun field trip to the St. George Library and Splash Pad. As the room mom, I got to tag along and have fun with them.
The kids had a great time listening to the awesome Children's Librarian, Mrs. Mann. We have been going to Story Time with Mrs. Mann for years and we love her. She read stories to the kids, sang songs and just had fun with them. After the library, we headed over to the Splash Pad for some more fun.
The teachers told everyone to just wade and get their feet wet but nothing else. Well with 40 kindergartners, you can guess that didn't happen! There were some pretty wet kids. We all just kind of looked the other way and laughed.
Emily had a great time. Here she is with her friend, Noah. We tease her all the time that Noah is her boyfriend!
Russell brought the boys over to the splash pad to play too. They had fun with all of the other kids.
After playing for a while the kids had ice cream for a snack as they tried to dry off a little bit before getting back on the bus.
This is Emily's kindergarten class. They are some crazy kids but they are such nice kids too. I have had a great time being the room mom and getting to know these kids this year.
Of course the funnest part of the whole field trip was riding on the bus! What a fun field trip. I am glad I was able to attend.
