Traci & Sean's Wedding

Well they did it.  Despite all of our warnings, Traci and Sean finally tied the knot on May 9th.  Their wedding was so beautiful and so much fun.  Congratulations you two!
Have you ever seen a happier, better looking couple?  They were married for time and all eternity in the St. George Temple.  We were able to go to their sealing and it was so amazing.  The sealer gave some great advice.  The best part was seeing Traci's face as she said "Yes!" over the alter.  It was so sweet!  I love the temple and you could definitely feel the Spirit in that sealing room surrounded by all of our family.  I didn't think I would but it was hard to not get a little teary eyed.  Another funny part was after they were married, the sealer said, "Well Sister Cardon..."  Traci didn't really respond and then surprised she said, "Oh! That's me!"  We all laughed.  Yes, it is hard getting used to a new name.  I know that for sure.

After the ceremony, we all hung out at the temple for a million pictures.  That is a gimme for weddings so I didn't hear one complaint from this family (which is very unusual...).

Well here we are in the latest Farnsworth family photo.  We sure have grown since I came into the family.  I think we will continue to grow too.  It sure is fun being part of this crazy clan.

There are some cute kids... I wonder who they belong to.  These three had a blast hanging out with cousins all week long. They also had fun at the temple climbing the stairs and posing for pictures.

Colby, Logan, and especially Emily could not wait for Traci and Sean to come out the temple so they could see them.  As soon as they came out, these three ran right up to them and gave them the biggest hugs and kisses.  Emily said, "Traci looks so beautiful!"

Sean and Traci also had to get a few pictures with all of the nieces and nephews.  Don't they look good?  I could totally see them with at least seven kids!

These are a couple fun ones with the bridal party.  You can see they were all jumping for joy that these two are together.

We also took a couple of pictures of just our family really quick before heading out to set up for the reception.

I think they turned out pretty good.  We are all looking at least...

The wedding dinner and reception was to be held at the Cox residence in the Washington Fields.  This place was amazing!  The large grassy backyard overlooked a nice pond and there was plenty of room for wedding guests, yard games, tables, and there was even a dance floor.  The wedding decorator had done an awesome job decorating the area.  The kids were able to play croquet and bean bag toss, life size Jenga, and more.  We had the wedding dinner here.  Unfortunately, as we were eating yummy papusas, the clouds rolled in.  We kept wishing them away but right as Traci and Sean got up to give their wedding dinner speeches, it started to down pour.  We all rushed under the covered patio and watched the rain soak everything.  We all felt so bad.  Luckily, Traci had a back up plan that she didn't really want to use but had to use.  She had also rented a church in case of bad weather.  Everyone helped out an in no time at all, we had the whole reception, decorations, food, everything, in cars and trucks and rushed over to the church.  In less than a half hour, we had the decorations and everything put back up in the church's cultural hall and that is where we ended up having the reception.  I think it turned out okay and in a way I am glad we moved it inside because it was kind of cold outside.  I hope Traci was happy with the change.  She seemed to be.
Here instead of running around playing games outside, all of the kids got to pig out on the reception food!  They had Carmel apples, chocolate dipped strawberries, Carmel popcorn, M&M's, Mike & Ike's, Reese's, Hot Tamales, cookies, and Lemon Bundt Cake.  Yes it was a great dinner/dessert!

Traci and Sean greeted all of their guests as they arrived to congratulate them and we all had a really good time.

We also took lots more pictures:

Finally it was time to cut the cake.

This cake was soooooooo good but soooooo rich.  It was a Reese's Peanut Butter cake with peanut butter and chocolate frosting decorated with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  Let's just say Sean loves Reese's.  After cutting the cake and shoving it in each others faces, they served the cake to all of us. Like I said before, it was so good but so rich.  It was hard to finish my slice but at the same time I wanted more!  I definitely need to get the recipe from Traci's friend who made the cake.

Then we all hit the dance floor for some fun dancing.

I loved watching the little cousins dance.  Emily and Alex were dancing non stop.  They were our little ballroom dancers as Alex twirled and dipped Emily.  Then we paired up Logan and Annalynn.  They were the cutest.  They held hands and danced around until they tripped on each others legs and went down.  Logan fell on Annalynn and then she wanted nothing to do with him the rest of the night so their dancing career ended early.  Oh well it was cute while it lasted.

This is just a funny picture of Logan I had to throw in.  He is wearing Emily's flower girl headband thinking he is the coolest thing ever!

We did bring the Jenga game with us into the church and Paul was the Jenga master.  He was so good at this game.  A group of us just stood in a circle around him and just watched him play waiting for the tower to fall over.  The tower never fell over though!  It would shake and lean but Paul was able to carefully pull the wood out without making it fall.  Finally I don't know what happened but the tower toppled.  Oh we were so devastated! Paul was so fun to watch.

Russell, Tyler and the groomsmen decorated Sean's getaway car so everyone would know they were just married.

Finally after a fun and eventful day, Traci and Sean were off to their honeymoon.  They went to Yosemite and some other fun and scenic places.

Preparing for the wedding was quite the adventure too.  Jen, Kristina, and I made a huge tub of Carmel popcorn, dipped about a million strawberries in chocolate, dipped 200 Carmel apples, and made 6 lemon bundt cakes.  LeeAnn also made all of the flowers and boutonnieres.  We took bridal pictures, and so much more.  This is not even mentioning all of the other things Traci and Sean and their parents did to pull this celebration off.  I think everything turned out well despite the rain.

The night before the wedding, all the girls got together for a bachelorette party.
First we all got some much needed pedicures.  We wanted pretty feet for the wedding!  Then they headed back to Traci's house for food, games, rapping, and more.  It was a lot of fun, I am glad they let me tag along.
Traci also wanted me to make these cute bow ties for the little boys.  I love how they turned out and they looked so cute on the boys at the wedding.

Congratulations Traci and Sean; may you live happily ever after!
