Payson Temple Open House

The Payson Utah temple is now complete and will be dedicated soon.  We had the great opportunity to take the kids to the temple open house and let them see what the inside of a temple looks like.
Only one word can describe the Payson Temple: Amazing.  The inside was so beautiful and peaceful and I loved it in there.  Emily loved the large sealing rooms and we were able to explain that these were the rooms you got married and sealed for time and all eternity.  The boys loved the baptismal font.  Logan did not want to leave the baptismal font room.  He just wanted to look at the Moos (oxen) the whole time.  The Celestial Room was so pretty too.  I loved how bright it was with the sun shining through the large windows.
As we left the temple, we were able to walk around the grounds of the temple and take pictures.  The grounds were just as beautiful and the inside of the temple.

Logan was mad I guess in this pictures because we wouldn't just let him run around and be crazy.  Emily and Colby were antsy too because we had been in the car for almost 4 hours and then they had to be good in the temple tour too.  Finally they were able to run around a little bit.
Their favorite part as you can see was the water fountain and reflective pool.  They just wanted to play in the water forever and did not want to leave.  After hanging out on the temple grounds for a while, we decided we better head back on the road because we still had a ways to go until we got to our new home in Hyrum!

Before leaving, we had the missionaries take a souvenir picture of us:
Don't we look so thrilled?  We are probably the worst family at taking pictures.  Oh well at least you know we were there!  What a beautiful temple. The temple will be dedicated on June 7, 2015.
