What would vacation be if there was no water involved. Traci's friend had this huge water bounce house that had slides, a small pool, and climbing wall area. The kid had a blast with it. It was up for a good 6 hours. The grass was so wet that I started to sink in the grass.
Tiff and I would love to buy one of these for our house. It would be way worth it. We looked them up and they were not much. It was a good chill out day.
Once we got everyone cleaned up we headed out to set off fireworks. I splurged this year on fire works. I said we are on vacation and we have never bought fire works, so I bought a big box and some other small ones. Sean also bought some big one that were cool. Everyone had a great time. It was a good pre fourth of July firework show.
The kids loved all of the fireworks especially the Sparklers. The boys were even brave enough to light a few of them on their own. It was a great show.
The one bad thing about Texas, besides the humidity, is the bugs! We were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes until Traci gave us some of her lavender lotion. That stuff was amazing at repelling mosquitoes. Unfortunately, we are coming home with a bunch of bug bites as souvenirs...
